Gravity Falls gets another shot at a LEGO Ideas set

Another LEGO Ideas project based on Gravity Falls has hit 10K in no time, giving the Disney franchise another shot at a set.

Just 10 days after being submitted to the platform, Minibrick Productions’ second Gravity Falls project based on Mystery Shack has successfully reached 10,000 followers.

You may remember them from their first build based on the series, or as the fan designer behind the 21345 Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera. The user has also seen inspired by Interstellar and Outer Wilds in review to try to become official LEGO models.

Their second Gravity Falls project is very similar to their 2021 design, but with some notable changes to the minifigure lineup. Now the project proposes Mabel, Dipper, Stanford, Stanley, Waddles, Soos, Wendy, Gideon and Bill as minifigures, one-piece figures and brick-built figures.

The building is proposed to consist of a large scale model of the Mystery Shack with four interior rooms as well as a golf cart and other decorations representing the surrounding forest. Gravity Falls is an award-winning Disney animated series from creator Alex Hirsch that ran from 2012 to 2016, but its story has continued in other forms since then, including in the recent The Book of Bill.

There have been many failed projects pitching a LEGO Gravity Falls set, but with any luck, the fact that this submission only took 10 days to reach 10,000 followers will impress the judges enough. For now, it joins many other models in the second 2024 review selection.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It has guided me through my first years, through school and finally through my journalism degree. I still have my entire collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favorite of all LEGO Group themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics, I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
