“Why then want something back that makes it so bad that is not fun and who puts the network at risk by playing 99% positive democratic waste,” Trump wrote in his post. “He is another arm of DNC, and to the best of my knowledge it would be a big illegal campaign contribution. I think we will test ABC on this.”

In an extra threat, Trump added: “Let’s see how we do it. The last time I went they gave me $ 16 million dollars. This sounds even more lucrative. A real bunch of losers! Let Jimmy Kimmel rot in his bad ratings.”

ABC settled earlier with the president in December and paid $ 15 million Trump’s presidential library to settle a trial. The network also paid $ 1 million in legal fees to the law firm of Trump’s lawyer, Alejandro Brito.

The consequences center surrounding Anker George Stephanopoulos’ inaccurate on-air claim that the elected president had been found civil for rap author E. Jean Carroll. While Trump refused all offense in the case, a jury found that Trump had defined Carrol and was readable for battery.

As part of the settlement, ABC News published an editor’s note to its site, which expressed regret over Stephanopoulos’ statements during a 10th March segment of the “This Week” program.

“If we don’t have freedom of speech, we just don’t have a free country. It’s as simple as that,” said Kimmel. “If this most basic right is allowed to circumvent, the rest of our rights and freedoms will overturn, like dominos, one by one, they will go down.”

Last weekend, Trump-Appoated Federal Communications Commission President Brendan Carr said it seemed that Kimmel was trying to “directly mislead the American public” with his remark about Tyler Robinson, 22-year-old Utah man who is charged with Kirk’s killing, and his motives. These motives remain unclear.

In a shit starring in Hollywood legend Robert Deniro, Poked Kimmel Fun on the car on Tuesday and accused the FCC chief of “using MOB tactics to suppress free expression.”

Despite Kimel’s return to the air, the late night talk show will remain on some local networks after Nexstar Media and Sinclair Inc announced that they would continue to boycott the show.
