Kriti Sanon is one of the best actresses of this generation. She is one of the few outsiders who made it big in Bollywood. The actress started her career in modeling and acted for a decade in Hindi films to achieve her current stature. Kriti has often shared in her interviews that she used to give several interviews before she got her debut film, Heropantistarring Tiger Shroff which made her enter B-town. But unlike many outsiders, she didn’t have to struggle for financial security. In a new interview, Kriti revealed how her father takes care of her money and her parents never made her feel that she doesn’t have enough money.
Kriti Sanon revealed that she has a joint bank account with her father
Recently, Kriti Sanon appeared on Nikhil Kamath’s WTF podcast with cricketer, KL Rahul. In the interview, Kriti Sanon shared her background and revealed that unlike other outsiders, she didn’t have to worry about finances in the initial phase of her career. In response, the host said that today anyone who reveals that they come from a middle-class background is trolled for pretending.
But in her reply, Kriti said that she is from an upper middle class family. She is not from a wealthy family. However, she didn’t have to do anything just because she wanted money. She went on to add that she has a joint account with her father. So she has no idea about her income and expenses. She was quoted as saying:
“But I’ve really been… upper middle class, whatever… I haven’t been someone who’s been extremely rich and wealthy. But I’ve also never been someone who felt, ‘No, no, no, I need to do this for money’ I have a joint account with my father. I have no idea how much money is coming in and going out.”

In the same interview, Kriti said that she has complete freedom to decide which project she wants to do and which one she doesn’t. Nikhil asked if freedom was the result of her financial security. That is Mimi actress shared that it is not due to financial reasons but because she comes from a privileged background. The actress said that she comes from an upper middle class family but never had to work because she had to earn money. Kriti mentioned that her parents never made her feel like she didn’t have enough money. In her words:
“It’s not financial. I would definitely say I’m privileged. I come from a middle-class family, but it’s not like I ever felt the need to work because I had to make money. There wasn’t. My parents worked and I never felt the need, my parents never made me feel like I don’t have money.”

On the work front, Kriti had two releases in 2024. She was seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, starring Shahid Kapoor. She was last seen in the comedy film, Crewstarring Kareena Kapoor and Tabu. The actress will next be seen in Do Pattistarring Kajol.
